Yes! This is an area where we pride ourselves in quite a bit. Everything that we sell at It’s The Sweet Things must be something that we eat and can’t believe how good it is. Even though we are the ones who just made it. Our vegan and gluten free desserts are no different! We offer a wide variety of options for all of our gluten intolerant, dairy intolerant and vegan friends so you can celebrate special occasions with delicious desserts or treat yourself whenever you feel like it!

That’s totally fine! I am a trained Pastry Chef and have confidence in making just about anything. The only thing we need for custom requests on flavor, is plenty of time... we need to make sure that we can get the ingredients and everything necessary to make your delicious dessert the right way, without having to take any crazy late-night trips to the 24-hour grocery store. We request that you give us 72 hours’ notice to fulfill your order. So if you are trying to order and see that any pickup time before that is unavailable that is why. You are always welcome to call the shop at 360-255-9998 or send an email to itsthesweetthingsbakery@gmail.com to see if we can accommodate a request that requires a sooner pickup time, and we can see what we can do for you!

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday pick-ups are not always possible, but sometimes we are able to do that. If I am being honest, I love it all! The only things we don’t really do are bread and donuts, simply because of space, equipment and wanting to focus on desserts for now. So, to kind of answer this question that we get asked every day... everything that we make, and every recipe that we create, is designed to be equally as good as the next. The only thing that you have to do is decide if you are feeling chocolatey, nutty, fruity or spicy, and enjoy! We want everyone’s palette to be equally pleased at It’s The Sweet Things, and as such we pour the same amount of love, technique, passion and time into every single dessert that we make.

The short answer is no. We have rotating dessert and pastry selections to keep it interesting for ourselves, and everyone else. We are a small team, and Jennifer - owner and Pastry Chef bakes every single item that we sell. Filling up the bakery every day with all of our mouthwatering and unique desserts, along with weddings, events and other celebrations that we are baking for is very demanding, and as such we don't always have all of our almost 100 things available on any given day. If you know you want something specific - it is always best to preorder from our online platform to make sure you get exactly what you are craving! What you can expect to find in the bakery is a rotating variety of anywhere from 15-25 different classic, vegan and gluten-free options that are all sure to delight your taste buds.

Yes and No. For larger events we do offer delivery within 25 miles round trip from the bakery for a standard fee of $25. For events and celebrations outside of that, we also offer delivery, just at a different cost. For individual desserts we are partnered with Viking Food and Uber Eats to get our treats delivered right to your door (or someone else’s) whenever we are open. Single Cake and Dozen Dessert pre-orders are pickup only at this time.

Yes we do! We have e-gift cards available for purchase on our website or in store. You can send it now or select a date in the future for it to land in their inbox so you don’t have to think about it later, but they still get it on their birthday or other day of celebration! We also have physical gift cards available for purchase in the shop!

Great question! Thank you for asking. If only there was a good way to describe what it actually tastes like without eating it first. Ube, meaning tuber in Tagalog, is a purple yam originally from the Philippines. Different than the purple sweet potato, it has an even sweeter, more mellow taste than its orange relative. Ube has a slightly nutty, vanilla taste and is popularly used in desserts in Filipino cuisine. This is why I even know what it is... my husband is Filipino and it is his favorite! The best way to really find out about this, though, is to try it! We usually have at least one ube item in shop, if not a few, on any given day. From cookies to cheesecake, stop by and give some ube a try!
